I have always had a passion for pets, and art. Becoming a professional dog groomer I was able to put the two things I loved into one.

I have always loved Shih Tzus, and in 2013 I found my best friend Ruby. Shes the inspiration for my logo and business name "Top Knot'ch" because you'll always see her sporting her ribbons and bows top knot.

At the start of my career, I began working in PetSmarts grooming salon at the age of 18 while still attending high school in April 2014.  In July 2016 I went through PetSmart's grooming academy, where I continued to work for PetSmart until April 2017. From April 2017 through April 2021, you could find me at Doggie Styles in Ishpeming. From April 2021 through January 2022, I had returned to PetSmart until my son was born.

My son was born prematurely February 1st of 2022, which resulted in a two-month NICU stay. Grooming is my passion and I'm lucky enough to be able to offer grooming from our home in Negaunee Township, set up with all you would expect from a regular grooming salon. 

I am so excited to share my passion for grooming with you if I haven't already.  I have a number of clients who have become more like family, and customers who consider me to be an integral member of their family. I hope I get the chance to meet you and your pet soon.
